RumorPress: Professional Design for the Business Blogger

Published by Steve on July 23rd, 2008 at 7:47 pm

Believe it or not, Rumorpress, the latest premium WordPress theme to grace the Products page, was actually first inspired by Dr. Arnold Kim’s Mac Rumors blog. However, when the creative juices began flowing… RumorPress ended up becoming something totally different and more importantly: unique. RumorPress is currently my personal favourite design to date and I’m very pleased with the outcome. Read more »

PWP Taking WordPress 2.6 For A Spin

Published by Steve on July 15th, 2008 at 7:24 pm

I can now confirm that PWP is indeed being powered by the mighty - and brand spanking new - WordPress 2.6, which was released just a few short hours ago. So far, I’m having a blast testing all of the new features that WP 2.6 boasts of; I’m really digging the idea of Post Revisions - perhaps the most notable new feature in WP 2.6 - but I am concerned about just how much database space it might take up in the long run… definitely something to keep an eye on. Featured Clients’ Blogs Section Added

Published by Steve on February 15th, 2008 at 3:08 pm

I spent the better part of today racking my brains, trying to come up with a way that might befit the customers of PWP. I managed to come up with a number of ideas that I felt might do the trick but, in the end, I settled with the idea of adding a Featured Clients section to the sidebar, as a gesture of saying thank you for your custom. Obviously, without the support of our loyal clientbase, PWP wouldn’t be where it is today and I’m very thankful for all the success that this site has managed to garner. Read more »

SolarFlare: Dark and Brooding Design. Perfect For Gaming Blogs

Published by Steve on November 15th, 2007 at 12:57 pm

Another premium WordPress theme has been added to our growing catalogue. This time, however, I thought I might try my hand at a somewhat darker look for this design, and I’m very pleased with the results. I wanted to create something that would appeal to the hardcore gamers. Being a gamer myself - not a hardcore one, mind you - I was eager to see what I could come up with.

Re-Introducing PWP with a New Look

Published by Steve on July 24th, 2007 at 3:41 pm

As you may have already noticed: PWP is sporting a brand new look! Hurrah! I thought it might be a good idea to revamp the look of PWP be re-designing a brand new theme that would better help fit the mood and what PWP is about: Professionalism. Whilst brainstorming on the new theme, I was adamant that there were three things that had to be included, no matter what: Professionalism, style and optimization. And, now that everything is complete, I’m confident that those goals have been met and exceeded. Read more »
